Slätthammar (Almö), Ronneby

Offside a bathing area with large areas to rig. Rigging on grass. Almö nature reserve. Nice kite spot! Good parking place right next to the beach. Optimal wind SSW. Works from SSE to SW. Sandy bottom and shallow water next to the beach. May be gusty winds, especially at too much westerly winds. No big waves. Partly flat water.

Torkö (south), Ronneby

Bathing area with partly sandy beach and partly grassy area. Most bathers, however, choose Torkö Stenbrott, which is directly adjacent to the spot. From parking about 1000 meters (10-15 minutes walking time). Can also be added by boat. Large areas to rig on. Rigging on grass / sandy beach. Bay on the north side of the sandy beach which partially generates flat water. South side of beach open sea with waves. Easiest to walk in on the north side, then offshore wind (in the bay) by southern winds.
Optimum wind SW (considering the bay). Works from WSW to S. Sandy bottom and shallow on the north side of the beach. On the south side sandy bottom, but quickly becomes deep. The north beach is short and rocky close to land.

Eneholmen, Ronneby Boat required

Easily accessible island with large areas to rig. Rigging on meadow. Summer time may be bathers at this place. Sand bottom and shallow water. No big waves. Flatwater at eastern winds, otherwise partly flat water.
Optimal wind N, or SE (flat water). Works from NW to ESE, should also work on SW. The northern part of the island is quite high, risk of gusty winds. Very good mooring site on the north side, deep water next to the rock. Smaller boats can be pulled up on the beach in the bay on the west side.

Lindö udde, Ronneby

Lindö nature reserve. Good wind forecasts. Often waves that can get very big. Good rigging surface but a lot of rock as you walk into the water. Rigging on grass/sand. Have to trickle out past the rocks before you can take on the board. In order to get back, you have to bodysurf in between the stones. Not for beginners and full control of the kite is a must!
Optimal wind SW. Works from ESE to WSW. Good parking near the rigging place, do not forget to close the cattle gate. Can also park outside the reserve and take the hike to the spot. Frequently windsurfing at the place. Often birdwatchers.

Gökalv bath, Ronneby

Municipal swimming area, surfing forbidden between 1 May to 30 September. Good surface to rig on. Rigging on grass. Trees nearby to ceep in mind. Good big parking right next to the kitespot. Optimal wind W. Works from WSW to NW. May be very gusty at rigging place. Sand bottom and relatively shallow water. The bay north of the beach can offer flat water, sand bottom and relatively shallow water. Otherwise normal waves. A few stones/reef outside, visible.

Nötanabben, Ronneby

Nötanabben burial field. Large open spaces to rig on but very rocky. Small bushes at the shoreline and smaller trees. If you go into the water on the west side there may be some rock. Can also go into the water via the beach on the north side. Optimal wind WSW. Works from SW to N. May be gusty on land. Easiest to get to the place by boat. Entrance the beach with your boat on the west side or the beach on the north side, better to shoose the northern beach with your boat when it`s southern winds. Parking by car takes place at the same location as Gökalv bathing place. Thereafter you go to Nötanabben,
10-15 minutes walking time. Stonereef outside in the water, visible. North of Nötanabben is a bay with a sandy bottom and relatively shallow water, the same as described at Gökalv's bathing place. The bay north of Nötanabben, Byrumaviken, can be relatively flat water but there is a risk of gusty winds. Otherwise normal waves.

Solvik, Ronneby

Solvik camping. Very small campground with a few caravans on site. Large area to rig on. Rigging on grass/gravel. Larger trees just at the edge of the beach to ceep in mind. Sand bottom. Becomes deep first few meters out. Often gusty winds, but it may be a good option if you think it's to windy for you further out, for example at Gökalv bathing place. Optimal wind WSW. Works from SW to W. Normal waves.

Klåven, Ronneby Boat required

Can kite on both the east and west side of the island. The east side, in the bay, can be good flatwater at offshore winds. Eastern side often normal waves. Good rigging surfaces. Rigging on meadows/mountains. Stones where you walk into the water. Deep water in the bay. Optimal wind W. Works from WSW to WNW. Can also work with eastern winds, but the water in the bay on the east side becomes more choppy then. Good place to go by boat, deep near the cliff. Sheep and goats on the island summertime, watch out with your food. At low tide you can cross over to Dunsö by walking.

Saxemara north bath, Ronneby

Municipal swimming area next to camping. Surfing forbidden between May 1st-September 30th. Good rigging surface. Rigging on grass/sand. However, floating bridges on the beach can be a bit in the way depending on how they placed them. Optimal wind E. Works from NE to ESE. Good big parking next to the rigging place. Partly swamp along the beach side around the bay. Sandy bottom. Shallow water near the beach. No big waves.

Saxemara south bath, Ronneby

Small municipal swimming area after the campsite. Surfing forbidden between May 1st-September 30th. Small area to rig on, difficult to self-launch. Rigging on sand/rocks. Tree near rig site. Optimal wind S. Works from SE to WSW. Sand bottom but not shallow water further out. Stones near land. Normal waves. Parking at Saxemara northern bath. Trail goes behind the campsite to the south side.

Eneskärvet, Ronneby Boat required

Bird protection between April 1st-July 15th. Stable winds. Small cliff islands nearby. Flatwater in several places behind the islands. Normal waves.
Optimal wind SE. Works from NE to SSW. Okay to add by boat but stones close to land. Mooring in land with anchors in the water. Rigging on rocks. Walk into the water from the cliffs.
