Norje havsbad, Sölvesborg

Municipal swimming area. Surfing forbidden between May 1st-September 30th. Large area to rig on. Rigging on grass/sand. A few larger trees along the shoreline, okay to rig on the beach. More free from trees in the south. Sandy bottom. Shallow water, especially in the southern part. Good for exercise. Optimal wind NE. Works from N to E. In the case of a straight north wind, there is a risk of gusty winds on the rig site. May be flatwater south of the bathing area around the island at Lavören, though some smaller stones. No big waves. Good parking right next to the beach. Parking at Norje havskrog.

Norje Sweden Rock, Sölvesborg

Secret bathing place for residents. Very good rig surface on grass. However, two large trees to take into account, otherwise free. Enter water from small beach. Shallow water and fine sandy bottom. From land, an old stone pier can be seen, this extends straight out from the shoreline, northeast direction. In addition, there is only a larger rock which is visible in normal water and which is located north of the stone pier, close to land. Not big waves, chance for flat water. Good for training. Optimal wind NE. Works from N to E, can be gusty with to much east, especially from launch place. Parking right next to the spot, good parking. Not available at WOO sports.

Norje boke, Sölvesborg

Swimming area of camping. Respect bathing and show consideration. Nice sandy beach with good rigs if there are no people. Fixed benches, playgrounds and single trees further up the beach. Sand bottom and shallow water, further out of the bay it`s deep water. Along the edges of the bay can be rocks. Good for exercise. No large waves, bigger waves further out. Optimal wind N. Works from NNW to NE. Okay parking. Parking at check-in for camping and from there go to beach. It may be possible to drive into the area when the campsite is closed.

Hörvik, Sölvesborg

Smaller bathing area just outside Hörvik harbor. Summertime, respect bathers and show consideration. Sandy beach that goes in a bend, so it becomes basically two places to rig on, like two bathing beaches. Quite okay surface to rig if there aren't people. May be waves further out but generally no big waves. Sand bottom, not shallow water. Stones especially on the east side of the beach. At westerly winds, there can be gusty winds. Optimal wind NNO. Works from VNV to OSO. Parking adjacent to the bathing area, right by the building on the west side of the beach. Parking: In Hörvik's harbor, drive as far east as it goes, the last 50 meters on the dirt road then park without getting in the way of other activities.

Torsö west, Sölvesborg

Nice and big beach. Alternative to Sandviken's beach as surfing is prohibited at Sandviken during summer time. Bathing guests to take into account. Rigging on the beach. Forest near the beach. A little more open at the eastern side, narrower beach though. It is also quite open on the middle of the beach. Optimal wind SSW. Works from S to SW. In the case of too much Western winds (WSW), it learns from the mainland. Sand bottom and shallow water. In some places stones, mainly at the ends of the beach. May be a lot of seaweed during the winter. No big waves near the beach. Smooth waves, farther out, it can be bigger waves. Good for exercise. Good for courses. Good parking. There are two parking options, see options 1 & 2 on the map picture. Alt.2 is a very large parking on grass, alt.1 is nearer optimal rig space. Directions refer to Alt.1. Short distance to walk from parking.

Sandviken, Sölvesborg

Municipal swimming area. Surf forbidden between May 1st-September 30th. Wide and nice sandy beach. Rigging on a sandy beach. Sand bottom and shallow water. No big waves near the beach. Smooth waves of flat water between the waves. Further on, it can be bigger waves further out. Optimal wind SSW. Works from WSW to S. At WSW, the mainland can be in the way for the wind and can be gusty at the rig site. Good for exercise. Good for courses. May be a lot of seaweed on the beach during the winter. Good big parking. Parking left side of road just before restaurant Oasen.

Ljunganabben, Sölvesborg

Udde next to the golf area. Good rigging surface on grass/meadow. Some single bushes. Sandy bottom and shallow water along the south coast. Located far into Sölvesborgsviken, therefore, may be exposed to bad winds and gusty. With the right winds this is a good spot. Optimal wind SSW. Works partly from S to SW. Major wind changes, there is a risk of gusty winds. Can also work on northern winds, but even then there is a risk of gusty winds. Distance to land west about 500 meters. The islands just northwest of Ljunganabben, Rådmansholmarna, is it bird protection between April 1st-July 15th. Parking on the golf course parking. Walk from parking to the kitye spot, about 5 minutes. No big waves, in the middle of the bay it can be choppy.

Bromölla camping, Bromölla  (Skåne County but near the border with Blekinge)

Ivölake, freshwater. Swimming area of the campsite. Rigging on the beach/grass. Very slender. At low groundwater, the rigging surface becomes huge, rigging on the "seabed". In normal water, the rigging place can tight for many kiters. Sand/clay bottom. No big waves. Good for exercise. Good for courses.
Optimal wind WSW. Works from SW to NW. Parking next to the beach. May be bathing in place, show consideration.
